SAP CC Subscriber Mapping Table
In CC[Convergent Charging], first create a mapping table referring to a mapping table class. Design a charge plan in CC with a parameter whose type is Mapping Table ID with visibility as external and assign a default mapping table ID.
In CRM , you assign this charge plan to a product in the CCM[cross catalog mapping].
Now when you create a provider order and in the item add the above product :
There are 3 different possibilities:
- Don’t make any change, which means that the already assigned mapping table to the parameter is considered. And when provider contract is created in CC and then rating happens, the charge plan – charge uses this default mapping table to derive the price. In this case no “subscriber mapping table” created.
2. Consider the fact that the mapping table created in CC is very generic and used for almost for all the customers to derive the price. But considering that you want to give a special price to a customer for the same product, create a provider order with that product and in the item details, convergent charging tables section redefine table for the mapping table. The system allows to create a Object specific mapping table and here you can maintain a special parameter for this customer. And once the contract is created and send to CC, when the rating happens the charge plan associated to this contract now holds the subscriber mapping table value for the mapping table parameter which is considered in the usage rating. This redefined object specific mapping table which is called as the Subscriber Mapping table.
When you choose redefine table.
The create table button appears.
The mapping table opens up and here you can create new rows/change existing rows/delete rows. This mapping table is a object specific mapping table and the business partner also added . Now when the contract will be replicated to CC, this redefined mapping table in CRM , is going to appear as a subscriber mapping table.
3. Assign a mapping table. This option allows you to assign a new mapping table [ which already created in CC] to the charge plan parameter. Later when the usage rate happens for the contract, the associated contract charge plan uses this new mapping table instead of the default mapping table.
Here we can open the subscriber mapping table in CC.
