SD Pricing – Condition Text
The post describes how to maintain condition texts in the pricing condition type.
The customizing required for the condition text can be reached from below highlighted path.
Or- Tx- VOTXN can be used for the same.
Choose Pricing Conds- Conditions .
Select Text Types.
Here new Text IDs can be created. GO back.
Now choose Display/Change to see/change the text determination.
Provide Application as – V (sales & distribution)
Here a new Text Procedure can be created and can be assigned to the text IDs with access sequence number.
Now the text procedure and text IDs can be assigned to a SD pricing condition type.
Below two highlighted condition types, one where condition text procedure is assigned and the other is simply not assigned.
Lets see what is the difference when a text procedure is assigned to a condition type and when not.
Execute Tx- VK11 to create condition record for the condition type. Try condition type- PR00.
Choose key combination.
Choose 3rd option.
The condition text maintain IOCN appears.
Let’s try for the other condition type without a text procedure assignment.
The condition text ICON is not available.
For the price condition type- PR00( with condition text assignment), mark that the checkbox under TEXT column is not checked because the text is not yet maintained. Choose the line and select the condition text maintain ICON.
The below screen appears.
Provide some text and save. Go back.
The checkbox under TEXT column is checked now.
Select the details button.
The text appears in the details screen as well.
