ABAP List View with Integrated Data Access

SAP offers a special version of the List Viewer, called SAP List Viewer with Integrated Data Access (ALV with IDA) which basically uses the power of  in-memory databases to process large quantities of data with Code push down programming model.

ALV with IDA is available to you in both the in-container variant and the full screen variant. 

ALV IDA basically makes use of two things-

1. Class- CL_SALV_GUI_TABLE_IDA – Can also be used for CDS views.
2. Interface- IF_SALV_GUI_TABLE_IDA
