ABAP programming model has evolved with time-
Initially the focus was on GUI, Webdynpro based transaction.
Later it was CDS, BOPF, SEGW for oData and Fiori based application.
Now its CDS, Behavior, Business Service which is termed as RAP.

Hi, nice post but I have a doubt, what you are saying is that the abap as we know it is going to desappear and be replaced by fiori with the years? and in the future all of the developments are going to be done with fiori? the gui transactions are going to be now fiori apps? thank you,I am just entering into this new world of sap fiori and restful programming.
