The below post shows how different scale types derive different prices in SD sales order.

Basically here will get to know about From Scale, To Scale and Graduated to Interval Scale.

Case1-In the pricing condition type[Tx- V/06], set scale type as space[ this is From Scale].

In Tx- VK11 set the scale as below. 

which means – product Quantity

From 1-> 9, the price per unit is 10 USD.

From 10-> 19, the price per unit 11 USD.

From 20-> 29, the price per unit 12 USD.

From 30-> 39, the price per unit 13 USD.

From 40-> 49, the price per unit 14 USD.

From 50-> above, the price per unit 15 USD.

Create SD sales order with different quantities  and the price is derived correctly as mentioned above.

Above 50 the price us considered as 15USD/unit.

Case-2  Scale type B[To Scale].

In Tx- VK11 set the price condition record scale as below.

which means – product Quantity

From 1-> 10, the price per unit is 10 USD.

From 11-> 20, the price per unit 11 USD.

From 21-> 30, the price per unit 12 USD.

From 31-> 40, the price per unit 13 USD.

From 41-> 50, the price per unit 14 USD.

From 51-> above, the price per unit 0 USD.

Create SD sales order with different item quantities and the price is calculated as per the scale set.

Quantity more that 50, no price is calculated with To-Scale.

Case-3 – Scale Type is graduated-to interval scale.

In Tx- VK11 set the scale as below. 

which means – product Quantity

From 1-> 10, the price per unit is 10 USD.

From 11-> 20, then upto quantity 10 the price is 10USD and rest is 11 USD.

From 21-> 30, then upto quantity 10 the price is 10USD ,from 11 to 20 the price is  11 USD and from 21 to 30 the price is 12 USD.

……………

Create SD sales order with different quantity and see the item condition details:

Quan-1 , price 10 USD/1 unit.

Quan-10 , price 10 USD/1 unit.

Quan-11 :  for first 10 quan, price 10 USD/1 Unit, for rest i.e 1 quan , price 11USD/1 Unit. So total price =  ( 1010 ) + (111) = 111 USD.

The same condition type is determined multiple times for different graduated to interval pricing.
