A mapping table class is an assembly of characteristics that define a group of mapping tables or subscriber mapping tables with the same structure. 

A mapping table is a data table used for mapping an input set of values to a set of output values according to different periods of time. This master data is part of the pricing catalog and is used to configure the pricing logic in SAP CC.


Create a Mapping Table Class.

The below screen appears.

Provide Name & Description. Create input and output columns with types.

Save the mapping tale class.

Now create a mapping table. The mapping table is created out of the mapping table class.

Provide a name and select the mapping table class. Once the mapping table class is selected, the columns defined in the mapping table class appears in the mapping table . In addition to those fields extra fields like Identifier, Start Date and End Date column are added to the mapping table.

Now Create some entries. While will design the price plan the KEY of the mapping table will be passed and then the corresponding price will be pricked.

Save the mapping table.

Now create a charge.

Provide name and description. Go to the parameter tab.

Create an input parameter with type as Mapping Table Key.

Select the price plan and provide name and description.

Create rate for the recurring rate.

provide name and description and recurring is triggered for every day. It can also be set as weekly, monthly or yearly.

Add a mapping table introducer.

Provide a name and description. Select the mapping table class.

Once the mapping table class is selected, then select the mapping table and provide ref date. Now we have to set the mapping property for the mapping table fields.

Mapping table field ‘key’ -> map it ti the charge parameter ‘price_key’.

Add Flat function.

Save  the charge.

Test the price plan.

Set the Charge Effective date .

Set the event date and the price key.

From Charge Effective Date to Event day = 1 Day . So the amount is 300.

Run once again with charge effective date as 1st March and event date is 10th march.

9 Days, so rec amount for each day as 300 EUR and 2700 EUR total Rec.
