SAP FPM provides a new way of displaying messages on the application screen as Notification Icon. The blog shows the simple steps to achieve this.
Feeder class for the form uibb.
Create an OVP application and create a configuration for the FORM component and user the feeder class.
Create application toolbar buttons.
The message Area Design is set as default.
Test the application.
When clicked on EDIT button, the message is displayed as normal.
Now in FPM OVP application configuration the Message Area Design can be set as NOTIFICATION ICON.
Once Saved the messages appears as Notification service.
Test the application. now if any button is clicked a notification icon is displayed. When the icon is clicked.
The Message popup appears showing the raised message. Click on the SAVE button.
The appropriate messages appears .
The Expand/Enlarge button can be pressed by the user.
The message box fitted in the message area of the application.
The close the popup/msg box the close button can be used.
